Leonard Cohen was in Toronto last night to accept an award from the Glenn Gould Foundation honouring his many creative achievements.

A week of street performances, workshops and film screenings culminated in a star-studded concert at Massey Hall. Read the CBC.ca story and the Globe and Mail article.

Canada’s renowned singer, songwriter and poet is also a prolific visual artist. For example, his Book of Longing is filled with a number of amusing, sometimes poignant, sketches. Several are included in this exhibition, a collection of 40 pieces of his visual art.
